About Hilary

I qualified as a Hypnotherapist in 2018 and since then I have seen hundreds of clients for multiple issues. I’m now pleased to be able to offer counselling alongside hypnotherapy, providing a safe, supportive space for you to talk, be heard and find clarity.

I hold a diploma in Professional Hypnotherapy, Hypnosis, Counselling, and Coaching, and have received training in combining hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Picture Release Therapy (PRT) for use with trauma.
I also hold a Diploma in Addiction Therapy and have worked on a voluntary basis with EDP/REACH Drug and Alcohol Services where I provided hypnotherapy sessions for their clients.

I’ve also written several articles for the West Dorset Magazine

I originally undertook my hypnotherapy training to help myself and it completely changed my life. Now, I see the potential in everyone and I’m passionate about helping people who seem to be ‘stuck’ in a behaviour or a situation so that they can free themselves from whatever is stopping them from moving forward with their lives.

Because of my life’s experiences, I have a deep understanding of many of the issues my clients come to me with. I truly believe that we all have the answers - and the power of healing and change - inside us. Hypnotherapy and counselling can be used to access that power, focus on how you want to be and help you unravel old negative beliefs and resolve painful experiences.

I am a Senior Member of the ACCPH (Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists). As a Senior Member, I have signed up to their Standards and Quality Charter and agree to adhere to a strict code of conduct and ethics.

I live and work in Poundbury, Dorchester, Dorset. I have four children - three grown ups and a teenager. I also have a grandson and a cat called Shaemus who enjoys watching wrestling.
