About Melika
Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT is a simple, proven technique that uses the same energy points recognised in Eastern medicine, like Acupuncture. Instead of needles, we use gentle finger-tapping on points on the face and upper torso. We combine this gentle tapping with focused conversation to quickly hone in on the negative thoughts and uncomfortable emotions you’re experiencing. The tapping creates a direct connection with the brain’s emotional control centre (the amygdala, or ‘fight/flight’ response). This process helps to release and neutralise the emotional charge behind your discomfort.
The result? You quickly regain a feeling of control, focus, and calm, allowing your thinking brain to find creative solutions and solve problems once more.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a state of focused attention that allows you to access and update your inner programming, making positive change feel easier and more natural. This is not about relinquishing control; it’s about taking control of your inner world to create real shifts in your physical and emotional well-being. Our brains are incredible organs. They have the capacity to grow, change, and rewire themselves. Many clients notice significant relief after just one session. However, deeper or long-standing emotional issues often require more time, as we gently work through the layers surrounding them. Most clients continue for four or more sessions, and some choose occasional top-up sessions to maintain their wellbeing or when life feels out of balance.
