About Aimee
There are times when life feels overwhelming, relationships become strained, or we find ourselves feeling low without knowing exactly why. Therapy offers a confidential and supportive space to explore these thoughts and emotions in a safe and welcoming environment.
Background:
I’ve been a practising therapist since 2011, beginning my work with clients at Cruse Bereavement Support. I later joined the Oxford Counselling Centre, where I supported individuals from a wide range of backgrounds facing a variety of challenges. Since 2018, I’ve been working in private practice, and have also led psychotherapeutic and support services within both private healthcare and charitable organisations.
I am an accredited member of the BACP and BABCP, and hold an MSc in Counselling as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Supervision:
I have been practising as an Integrative Therapist, drawing on both Person-Centred and Psychodynamic approaches, since 2011. More recently, I have also qualified as a CBT Therapist, expanding the range of perspectives I bring to both therapy and supervision. My supervisory approach is welcoming, relaxed, and professional, underpinned by the 7-Eyed and the Cyclical models. I’d be happy to arrange a brief introductory conversation if you’re interested in exploring the possibility of working together.
