About Carole
I’m a Clinical Reflexologist and Chartered Work Psychologist, supporting people at all stages of life — from younger adults to older age groups. I’m passionate about helping my clients enhance their health and wellbeing through personalised Reflexology treatments and practical self-care advice.
I have a particular interest in working with clients living with long-term health conditions, as well as those preparing for or recovering from surgery and ongoing medical treatment. My approach is integrated and collaborative, combining regular Clinical Reflexology with complementary therapeutic and medical care such as physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, counselling, or GP and hospital support. I’m always happy to work alongside healthcare providers to ensure joined-up support for each client’s ongoing wellbeing. For example, by providing my clients with summary clinical reflexology notes to pass to other healthcare providers.
Reflexology offers wide-ranging health benefits, including improved sleep, stress reduction, relaxation, mood balance and enhanced overall wellbeing. I practise the Duopody form of Reflexology, which treats both feet simultaneously to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes and restore balance.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Applied Reflexology for Integrated Medicine (OFQUAL regulated), incorporating advanced techniques designed to support those experiencing stress and anxiety, chronic illness, pain, or receiving palliative care. I am also an approved practitioner of the Sally Kay Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD) and Sally Earlam Reflexology for Menopause techniques, helping clients manage lymphoedema, autoimmune conditions and the challenges of menopause with greater comfort and confidence.
My background in Psychology has led me to extend my learning to include Limbic Reflexology — a specialist form of Reflexology developed by Hamish Edgar. This approach focuses on reflex areas of the feet that relate to our emotional responses and how we experience pain. Limbic Reflexology will be available to both new and existing clients from March 2026.
In addition to my core qualifications, I hold certificates in relaxation skills training, stress management, performance coaching, and health and wellbeing coaching. My learning from Indian Head Massage and Acupressure Facial Therapy also informs the relaxation and self-care guidance I share with clients, supporting both body and mind.
Some private healthcare insurers provide cover for Reflexology treatments, and I’m happy to provide receipts to support clients with reimbursement where this applies.
Group Workshops
I offer small, interactive workshops that give participants the chance to explore practical self-care tools in a relaxed and friendly setting. Topics include facial acupressure, hand reflexology, relaxation techniques, coping and motivational imagery, and various stress-management practices. Further information on bespoke workshops to support your particular small or larger group requirements and events is available on request – email: carole@clinicalreflexologyandgrowth.co.uk
